I am Senior Researcher in pure mathematics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of Vilnius University (Lithuania), within the Statistics and Probability Group of the Institute of Data Science and Digital Technologies.

Research Fields

      • Geometric Group Theory: discrete groups, quasi-isometries, geometric properties of groups, asymptotic topology of groups and manifolds, ends, lattices in Lie groups, topological groups.

      • Low-dimensional Topology and Geometric Topology: topological tameness conditions, simple connectivity at infinity, geometric simple connectivity, quasi-simple filtration, Tucker property, proper homotopy invariants, (Poenaru's) inverse-representations, singularities.

      • Group Theory: finite groups, locally-compact groups, probability in group theory, commutativity degree, subgroup commutativity degree.
